This Refund Policy is part of and incorporated into the Florida Tapes Terms of Service and the Marketplace & Sales Terms. "Florida Tapes," "we," "us," and "our" mean Big Develop Tech & Media, LLC d/b/a Florida Tapes, the merchant of record for marketplace purchases. It covers purchases of music (tracks and releases) on the Florida Tapes marketplace.
The short version: you're buying instantly-delivered digital music you can preview before purchase — so sales are final once the music hits your Library. We make it right in three cases: you were charged twice, you never got the music, or the music was taken down because the seller had no right to sell it. Email info@bigdevelop.com and we'll sort it out.
1. DIGITAL GOODS — SALES ARE GENERALLY FINAL
1.1. Marketplace purchases are digital goods delivered immediately: on payment, the music appears in your Library for streaming and becomes available for download (Buyer Music License, Section 2). Once delivery has occurred — the purchase is in your Library, whether or not you have pressed play — the sale is final and not refundable for reasons such as change of mind, taste, duplicate content you already owned elsewhere, or the artist later unlisting or re-pricing the music.
1.2. Every listed track offers a free preview before purchase. Use it — that's what it's for.
2. WHEN WE DO REFUND
We refund a purchase in full in these cases:
2.1. Duplicate charge. You were charged more than once for the same purchase (double-tap, retry glitch, duplicate order of the same item on the same account). The duplicate is refunded.
2.2. Non-delivery. You paid but the music never became available in your Library or for download, and we cannot promptly fix delivery. (Tell us first — almost all delivery issues are fixable in minutes.)
2.3. Infringement takedown. The purchased music is removed because the seller had no right to sell it — for example following a takedown or unauthorized-sale determination under the Marketplace Infringement & DMCA Policy. Affected buyers are refunded in full; we recover the refund from the seller under the Music Seller Agreement, never from you.
2.4. Where the law requires. Nothing in this Policy limits any non-waivable refund right you have under applicable law.
3. HOW TO REQUEST A REFUND
3.1. Email us: info@bigdevelop.com, from the email on your Florida Tapes account, with the track or release name, the artist, the approximate purchase date, and which case in Section 2 applies. A Stripe receipt number helps but isn't required.
3.2. Timeframe. Ask within 60 days of the charge (infringement-takedown refunds under Section 2.3 are initiated by us and are not subject to the 60-day window).
3.3. Our response. We review and respond within 7 business days. Approved refunds go back to your original payment method via Stripe, typically within 5–10 business days depending on your bank.
3.4. Effect on your license. A refund cancels the purchase: the music leaves your Library, and your Buyer Music License to it terminates.
4. CHARGEBACKS
Please contact us before disputing a charge with your card issuer — we resolve legitimate problems faster than the chargeback process does. Chargebacks filed to obtain music you keep, or other chargeback abuse, may result in suspension or termination of your account under the Marketplace & Sales Terms.
5. CHANGES; CONTACT
We may update this Policy; the version in effect when you purchase governs that purchase. Questions: info@bigdevelop.com.
